You probably know that Xerox provides technologies and services that enable businesses to manage documents and data efficiently and effectively. Did you know, however, that they received the Nation
Xerox Student workers
al Medal of Technology? This is the highest honor awarded by the President of the United States to America's leading innovators.

Applying this innovative spirit to workforce development, Xerox was also an early adopter of the Corporate Work Study Program. Kamonte McCray, the Vice President of New England Sales, observes that "since 2005, our corporate work-study program has provided NCC students with valuable experience in the practical world of business.  The students have enriched our relationships with the three clients who benefit from having NCC students on site every day. This is a terrific partnership for NCC, Xerox and our clients - no wonder it has expanded from 4 students in 2005 to 12 students today."

These 12 young professionals are learning about document management in the context of productivity, efficiency and sustainable practices from this global citizen. Thomas Ready, Vice President of the Eastern Region, and NCC Board Member states that "the students provide a positive result and wonderful environment."   We appreciate all of our corporate sponsors whose innovation, like Xerox's, extends into workforce development through partnering with the Corporate Work Study Program.
